Animals do not speak our language, but their thoughts and feelings can
be interpreted by a sensing process allowing the human to "share
awareness" with the animal. The human then makes an interpretation
of the animal's thoughts or feelings. Animals may also pick up human thoughts
and feelings and react accordingly. Animal Communication is a cross-species
interpretation of thoughts, feelings and energies. It is based on the
belief that all life operates in an inherent bio-energetic field of
consciousness where thoughts and feelings exist. This consciousness is
shared by all species and when specifically contacted can be interpreted
by humans and other species. The process of "inter-species communication"
requires the development and bridging of both the "left" and
"right" brains as well as the unconscious or sub-conscious and
conscious minds.
There are at least three different, but related levels of consciousness
for accessing information:
Level 1 is the "ego/personality" of the animal. This is the
most common level of contact allowing the communicator to gain information
from the animal's perspective. This level is of value with regards to
behavioral issues, likes/dislikes, habitat and survival skills and often
where the animal may be in pain.
Level 2 is the body itself. Often an animal may block pain and
be unaware of where it hurts. Contacting the body at the cellular level
allows information about the condition and over health dealing with the
anatomy and physiology of the animal. This level of information is often
referred to as "medical intuition" and may be conducted by a
"medical intuitive specialist."
Level 3 is the "relationship level." This level reflects
the animal's interactions and involvement with either the human companion
or another animal companion. The information collected from this level
may be somewhat "projective" or "reflective" of the
human's condition and requires a skilled, self-aware animal communicator
to differentiate the information. The level of energetic interpretation
from this level is more complex.
Benefits of Inter-species Communication
Although not an "exact science," cognitive inter-species communication
has many applications and benefits. Asking an animal where it hurts or
conducting an energetic "body scan" on the animal can often
identify specific areas of imbalance or distress. Information can be validated
by the owner-guardian or veterinarian checking the animal. This procedure
is most often used when traditional western practices have not located
or relieved the animal's condition. Behavioral issues can often more easily
be resolved by determining from the animal's perspective what is causing
the behavioral pattern.
Animal Communication Training/Education
Animal Communicators may or may not have academic and scientific backgrounds.
Those that do will most likely have education in one or more of the following
fields: 'cognitive ethology,' 'consciousness studies,'animal psychology,
animal behavior or 'parapsychology.' Although undergraduate through graduate
degrees are available worldwide in these disciplines, most animal communicators
are self-taught or have taken classes from other professionals. There
are no licensing or academic requirements for this profession at this
time. However, animal communicators with scientific knowledge about a
species may be able to offer more in-depth and
clear interpretation of the animal than one with little or no scientific
background.
Working With an Animal Communicator
A good animal communicator will not ask you for much information besides
the animal's name, species and perhaps where it lives. They will want
to know if there are any specific questions you want to know about the
animal. The "name" of the animal acts as a "tag" or
"locator" for the animal consciousness. This process can be
done in person or at a distance, as consciousness is not restricted to
time and space. The information received from the animal communicator
about the animal may come in the form of 'clairvoyant' (pictures), clair-audio
(words), or clair-sentient (feelings) depending upon the communicator's
expertise and ability. Good animal communicators should be able to interpret
information and feelings in more than one way and information should be
able to be validated.
